Data Deletion Instructions

1. About these instructions

Cape Breton AI Automation (“CBAI,” “we,” “us”) operates applications that may connect to Facebook, Instagram, or other Meta platforms on behalf of our clients. When you interact with one of our apps — for example, by logging in with Facebook or granting permissions to a CBAI-managed business account — limited information may be processed or stored by us.

This page explains how to request deletion of any personal information CBAI holds about you in connection with a Facebook-connected app or integration.

2. What data we may hold

Depending on the app or integration, we may hold:

• Profile information: your name, profile picture, and email address as provided by Facebook Login
• Page or account identifiers: Facebook Page IDs, Instagram Business Account IDs, or user IDs necessary to deliver the integration
• Message and conversation data: messages, comments, or conversation transcripts processed by our AI agents on behalf of a connected business
• Access tokens: credentials required to make authorized API calls on behalf of a connected account

3. How to request deletion

To request deletion of your data, send an email to hello@cbai.ca with the following:

1. A subject line of “Data Deletion Request”
2. The name of the CBAI app or integration you used (if known)
3. The Facebook or Instagram account, Page, or business name associated with the data
4. The email address associated with the account, if different from the one you are writing from

We may contact you to confirm your identity before processing the request. This prevents unauthorized deletion of another person’s data.

4. What happens after you request deletion

• We will acknowledge your request within 5 business days
• We will delete the personal information we hold about you within 30 days of verifying your request
• We will revoke any access tokens stored in connection with your account
• We will confirm by email once deletion is complete

Some information may be retained where required by law, for legitimate business records (such as invoices), or in anonymized or aggregated form that cannot be linked back to you.

5. Removing the app from your Facebook account

You can also remove a CBAI app’s access to your Facebook account at any time directly from Facebook:

1. Go to Facebook Settings → Business Integrations
2. Locate the CBAI app in the list of connected apps
3. Click Remove and confirm

Removing the app revokes its ability to access new data from your account. To also delete data we have already processed, please submit a deletion request as described in Section 3.
